SGD Springs Joins Garage Door Freedom 2025 in Phoenix, AZ

The SGD Springs team was thrilled to take part in Garage Door Freedom 2025, a premier industry event hosted in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona. This annual gathering, led by Tommy Mellow, CEO of A1 Garage Door, brought together garage door professionals, suppliers, and service leaders from across the country for two action-packed days of learning, networking, and collaboration.

As a key player in the garage door spring manufacturing space, we at SGD Springs see immense value in staying connected with the broader garage door community. The Garage Door Freedom event gave us the chance to do just that – and so much more.

A Great Meeting with Tommy Mellow

One of the highlights of the event was meeting Tommy Mellow himself. Tommy's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to raising the standard in the garage door industry are well-known, and it was an honor to speak with him in person. His energy, vision, and generosity in sharing insights and best practices truly set the tone for the entire conference.

Hearing directly from someone who has built one of the most recognized brands in the business was inspiring. It reminded us how important it is to keep innovating and supporting each other as we grow and serve our customers.

Our Contribution: Sponsoring the Top Golf Night

At SGD Springs, we believe in giving back and supporting events that bring people together. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the Top Golf networking event that closed out the conference. This relaxed, fun evening allowed attendees to unwind, forge new friendships, and reflect on everything we’d learned over the past few days.

Seeing so many people from different corners of the industry come together in such a laid-back setting was a perfect ending to a productive and inspiring event. We’re glad we could play a role in making that experience happen.
